Kelly Rose has spent her working life dedicated to the arts. With a Bachelors degree from Cal State Los Angeles in TV/Film Production, Kelly has built a successful career in Television Post Production working on shows for networks such as HGTV, Weather Channel, BBC America, Vice Media and a long list of other projects and companies.
Since relocating their family to Georgia, Kelly and her husband Steve Alderfer opened Studio 48 an acting workshop and audition taping studio located on the square in McDonough. The studio has afforded them the opportunity to pass along their expertise to actors as young as 8 years old all the way to adult. Kelly is on the board of the newly formed Henry County Council for the Arts where she is looking forward to bringing over a decade of experience as an industry professional to an exciting new community project. Most recently Kelly has been contracted to work with Tyler Perry Studios as a Post Production Consultant to assist with managing their incredible growth.
Kelly Rose is currently a candidate for GA Senate District 17 which covers much of Henry, Newton and parts of Rockdale county, with the election in November 2020.
