Fred Auletta
Dancing with the Stars Henry County Co-Chair Fred Auletta is a long-time resident of Henry County, a former Henry County Commissioner and former Henry County Manager.
Mr. Auletta is a combat veteran who served in the Marine Corp during Vietnam. After graduating from college, Fred started his career with Arthur Anderson CPA firm in 1968. He started his own business in 1992 then sold it in 1997 to Bennett International Group. Since then, he has been an employee of Bennett in positions of Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and presently as Vice President of Acquisitions/Mergers.
Fred and his wife, Regina, live in Eagle’s Brooke community. They have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. They are active members of Community Bible Church and active in our community. Fred serves on the Board of Haven House Women’s Shelter, YMCA, his Homeowners Association, the Henry County Chamber’s Transportation Committee, and the Henry County Rotary Club. He also delivers Meals on Wheels.
Shana Thornton
Dancing with the Stars Henry County Co-Chair Award-winning journalist Shana Thornton advocates Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous quote- "Intelligence plus character-that is the true goal of education." Her popular radio talk show titled Let’s Talk America with Host Shana Thornton has received rave reviews on groundbreaking news content. Through her platform, Shana encourages the discovery of viable solutions to many issues affecting the international community. As executive producer and lead on-air talent, she presents the relevant top trending news stories. The international radio program has received several awards, including the WE DAY Excellency In Journalism Award.
She holds membership with the League of Women Entrepreneurs and the Atlanta Press Club. In her spare time, she leads an innovative group of young women titled Emerging Women. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Connecting Henry, Inc. and is a member of the Friends To Unite Community Initiative.
Shana is the founder and managing partner of Padgett & Thomas Enterprises, LLC. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the College of Charleston and she holds a Certificate in Journalism from the distinguished University of Massachusetts Amherst. She can be seen hosting the popular television show Atlanta Live the WATC Network.

Shana anchored the weekly news program for the acclaimed Southern Crescent Broadcasting Television on the Charter Network for several years. Shana was the host of the televised health program “The Dose” featured on SCBTV 182. She is the 2015 Recipient of the BOLD Award in Human Dignity for Journalism. Shana was also recognized as being one of the Top 14 Under 40 by the award-winning Southern Journal Magazine. She was recently recognized by Voyage Magazine as one of the most inspiring persons in the Atlanta Area. She is currently working on her first authorized biography, which is scheduled to be out soon. For the last three years, she organized the Celebration of Hope, which celebrated the community work of the SWAG Program of Connecting Henry, Inc.
Shana is currently the Public Information Officer for the City of Stockbridge where she has the responsibility of facilitating information to the public and media outlets. She and her husband are the proud parents of two sons.
